Fichet, the innovation at the service of customers.
We are in 1926 when the 2 brothers Marc and Fernand FICHET create a tyre trading company. Requests for specific parts will not be long in coming and Marc Fichet then buys a rubber processing press to produce rubber buffers for semi-trailers. An innovation !
His son, Jacques Fichet, will then propel the company in another dimension thanks to the conception of a three part mudguard for rear axles of tractor units (1967). The upper rubber part of this mudguard, the BUTIMETAL ® is made of a rubber inside strengthened by flexible vulcanized steel blades. This system is patented. This three part mudguard becomes the reference for all the European truck-builders.
Under the leadership of Jérôme Fichet, the third generation, this flagship product will be improved thanks to the use of plastic injection. The polyurethan will be first used (1983) and then completed by recyclable thermoplastic (1999). A new range of accessories for commercial vehicles will be launched such as plastic toolboxes and fire-extinguisher boxes RIMBOX ®, as well as mudflaps and patented spray-suppression systems (NETROUTE®, NETWAY ®, NETFLAP®).
FICHET innovates in products, but also in the raw materials (used for production) and in production tools. Eco conception and production of parts with 100% recycled plastic on low energy consumption machines are of great importance to limit our environmental impact.
FICHET remains a leader in Europe in the truck accessories industry, always at the service of its customers and on the forefront of innovation.
From now on, in order to meet the demands of most customers, we propose our range of products to private persons, in the field of activities such as trailers for leisure, nautism and agricultural.
